The pay isn't bad for retail and I consistently got raises on a yearly basis. Free food in the break rooms on Fridays, if you're too cheap to bring your own. We all had to wait for the store manager as there was trouble with the register. He finally showed and informed us we would have to wait 15 minutes as the mechanic had to finish a wheel alignment . When I suggested he could fill our tanks he said he was't certified. Thank goodness the mechanic took care of us. Restructuring of all management positions. Responsibilities are now being pushed onto other departments while new hires don't last very long. Lots of favoritism though they will deny it. It does not take most astute minded people to notice this.

The Consulate serves the American resident community – including members of the Armed Forces and their families, business people and retirees – and assists many other visitors to Frankfurt.
Because of this, morale is very low in lots of clubs. While at BJ'S I was cut by a jar cover. The store manager & I agreed that a fast settlement would be to extend my membership by 1 year. If not I was going to the hospital which would cost BJ'S a lot of money.

Unfortunately, I think the cons outweigh the pros for this organization. Our executive leadership team appears to be out of touch with the general needs/wants of the Team Members in the organization. BJ's places a heavy focus on its Members, but it doesn't place a large focus on ensuring the happiness and success of our Team Members. While I do work in the Home Office, it is our hourly Team Members in the clubs on the front line that help to steer home our business results.
